The configuration of the firewall rules by the administrator is audited and checked to ensure that the number and type of rules matches the format that has been defined in the company’s configuration file.

The main window of the WallParse application provides the administrative interface for the application. The main window consists of three tabs: Configuration, Results, and Report.
The Configuration tab has two sections: Configuration Settings and Rulesets. The Configuration Settings tab contains the administrative control settings related to the configuration file and the audit settings. The Rulesets tab contains the rule sets that are found in the configuration file.

WallParse [Updated-2022]

The application enables you to export and import the IP ACLs into text files, CSV files or RTF files. The ACL files can be generated from IOS or from any application and can be imported into the program.

WallParse Content:

The user interface of the utility is accessible from any point of the network. If the firewall is running, the program will display information about the configuration file, or about the ACL file. To complete the audit, you need to verify the configuration and make any changes required to the application settings. For these purposes, there are several check boxes on the main interface that enable the user to verify the ACL rules configured on the firewall.

WallParse is a popular firewall penetration test that can be used to audit the security configuration and set of rules of the system. The firewall can be a Cisco ASA, Fortigate, Dell Equallogic, Juniper Router, the NGFW, Juniper ASA or ANY firewalls operating on the network. The program currently has limited support for Fortigate devices. You can either import ACL files generated from the device or export any configuration file you have on hand. An important feature of WallParse is that it also allows you to view the results of the audit using statistics and reports. These options will enable you to demonstrate to the IT department that the rules are being enforced.
WallParse also supports the ability to export a configuration file, or an ACL file to a CSV file. This means that you will not need to enter the file every time you want to check the details of the file. The application allows you to track the changes made to the firewall, so you will no longer need to worry about the historical changes.

Wallsparsecorp was founded in the early 1970s by Phil Bogard.

The company is incorporated in the state of Florida and started by Phil Bogard in the early 1970s as a small sheetmetal business. He also started a jewelry business called Moonshadows, based in Clearwater, Florida. His jewelry was not profitable, and it was suggested he try software. Phil found a publication in a LUG that had the BBS software he wanted, and got in touch with the author. While he was waiting for the software, he made a very small demo program to prove that the software could work. The demo worked, so he asked the author for a beta release. Phil got the software, but the author was not interested in a small company, so he wrote a few programs that plugged into the software. The author also got out of the program after a couple of years. Since it was not finding bugs in the program, Phil started the company with the author’s software, but it just made copies of the demo program. Soon, the business grew.

In late 1982, Phil ran into a computer guy in North Carolina that had made a demo program for a new computer game called “Donkey Kong”, which is the world’s most popular computer game. Phil saw the potential of the software, and he also saw that Donkeys had struck again. So, Phil made a new “Moonshadows” program and put it on the new Donkey Kong BBS. He sold advertising, and “Moonshadows” became the first BBS software to make money. Phil had the idea that since he had two BBS software companies in Florida, why not combine them. WallParsecorp was founded in the early 1970s as Wallsparsecorp in Clearwater. By mid-1983 they had a few hundred customers, so Phil moved the company to Crystal River, Florida.

WallParsecorp has changed little since it was founded, even though there has been a lot of growth in the software sector.

The company is incorporated in the state of Florida and started by Phil Bogard in the early 1970s as a small
