Silver is a parametric equalizer that gives you the possibility to control the amplitude of each band, shift the center frequency, and widen or narrow the bandwidth of audio tracks and recordings.
Parametric equalizers are more reliable for performing accurate sound adjustments than others, such as graphic equalizers. These are commonly used in audio recordings and live sound reinforcement systems.
Parametric equalizer VST plugin with mono and stereo versions
To be able to use the Silver VST plugin, it's necessary install a VST host (unless you already have one), such as VSTHost, energyXT, Carla, SAVIHost or VSTplayer.
The downloaded package includes two DLLs with mono (SilverM.dll) and stereo (SilverST.dll) versions of the parametric equalization plugin, which can be dragged and dropped with the mouse in the main window of a VST player to load it.
HighPass, LowMid, HighMid, High1 and High2 filters with selectable frequencies
It supports a HighPass filter, in addition to four flexible parametric bands, namely LowMid, HighMid, High1 and High2. Any combination of these filters can be activated.
Furthermore, all these bands feature customizable frequencies: 30Hz, 50Hz, 80Hz, 160Hz and 300Hz for HighPass, 35Hz, 48Hz, 63Hz, 80Hz, 110Hz or 220Hz for LowMid, 150Hz, 180Hz, 240Hz, 400Hz, 820hz or 1.2Hz for HighMid, 220kHz, 315kHz, 640kHz, 2.5kHz, 3.2kHz, 6kHz, 8Khz or 9.4kHz for High1, as well as 5kHz, 7kHz, 10kHz, 12.5kHz or 15kHz for High2.
Resonant, solo, boost, bypass per band, and global bypass
There are also resonant, solo and boost filters available for each band, along with bypass per band and global bypass. It's possible to tweak the gain, res high, res mid and res low, as well as to produce main volume output.
The Silver VST plugin hasn't received updates for a pretty long time and doesn't seem to be in development anymore. However, it worked without any problems in our tests on the newest Windows version.

So, it looks like the presets only use one of the three bandpass filters…

I think the high pass band filter can be re-enabled by changing the high frequency cutoff in the General parameters in the plugin’s settings.

Sorry for my ignorance, I’m fairly new to audio.
The resonance filters are used to tweak the treble (in the case of the bass) and the boost filters are to tweak the mid and bass, just like in normal equalizers.
The bypass filter is the one to set to bypass the plugin.
