Hello, we are glad to present you our latest project – IceChat.
It’s a professional, customizable, network-compliant IRC client. It supports all the features you could expect from an application of this nature, including auto away, joining, unjoining and banning.
IceChat supports multiple connecting modes, so you can use it as a pure IRC client or as a standalone IRC window manager, working with all other programs.
The solution is self-contained, so you don’t need extra applications. The program can be started from the shortcut, minimized to tray or used as the main window.
IceChat includes a few extra elements – a contact list, a global status window, dictionary, alias editor and others, all of which are fully customizable.
You can connect to chat rooms, networks, channels, private messages and much more, with the help of an extensive help file.
Apart from all this, the application includes a built-in file manager and a text editor. Both components are configurable, as well.
We have been testing the application on the computers of our friends and have found nothing to complain about its performance, so do not hesitate to give it a try!
The installation file is small, as it does not come with any extras. You will need a regular.NET framework installation, as well as a working sound system, so you can use the application properly.
The IceChat package contains two files:
Main.exe – application main executable.
