If you’re a collector, you’ve probably heard of this game. If you’re a father, you’ve probably never heard of this game. ​ Peggle: Masters Edition is a game that is loved by some, hated by others, and loved by a few more. However, for those of you who don’t know or have never heard of it, here’s the short version: There are a bunch of little balls that go around on a grid. Some of them are green, some of them are yellow, and some are blue. The objective is to get all the balls to land in a goal where the light is green. If you hit a ball into the goal, it’s 1 point. If the ball bounces out of the goal, it’s a 2 point ball. And so on. So how hard is it? It’s extremely hard. This version of the game is made especially to take a long time and be frustrating as hell. It takes advantage of all your average gamer’s patience and your ability to be at the mercy of luck to the point that you will hate yourself over and over again. If you can handle the pain, then you are in for a real treat. How long will it take me? That depends on you. I don’t really have an easy, average, or even expected number for you. The game is designed around the average person’s patience and the timing of when they are on a schedule or have good or bad days. If you have an average gaming schedule, then it could take you a few hours to play this through from start to finish. If you’re in a hurry, or you have a very slow gaming schedule, then you might be done playing in fifteen minutes. How much does it cost? The question that a lot of people ask is, “How much does this game cost?” The answer is that it varies, but not a lot. The game’s retail value is around $25. At this point, if I wanted to lose money on this game, it would cost me under $15. Now, if you buy this game used, then the value decreases. It varies, but you can probably get it for $10. This doesn’t take into account the new features, but it’s still cheaper than $15.

 

Features Key:

  • Hero points are earned for each ability. You can quickly level up when you need it to level up your entire party. Way more powerful abilities= WAY more points
  • Each ability has unlimited uses, even on difficult monsters.
  • Each Ability has a 20% Weapon Break chance.
  • Each hero can steal the attribute (+)= of another hero in your party (within certain limitations) for 60 seconds
  • Each hero is HD 3. (in comparison, your stat belongs to an average human being. ~13% of an average man’s body fluids are his brain, leaving little energy left for the rest of his body. So, consider him an average HD 36 (similar to that of an elf or a dwarf)
  • Price, as usual, is revealed after registration. (Total amount of the available unsold slots is 3, but players could count how many of those slots are vacant before registering.)
