Thredgeholder is an Adobe Photoshop plugin that lets you easily spot a photo’s edges. By setting the brightness and threshold levels, you can more effectively spot the sharpness in images. Using threshold and brightness levels is the best way to spot edges in black-and-white images, as well as images with low contrast.
The blue indicator in the corner of the Thredgeholder window shows the current brightness and threshold levels. Changes in the brightness and threshold levels are labeled under the indicator. In the Thredgeholder window, you can use the eyedropper tool to select your photo’s area. You can then adjust the brightness and threshold levels on this area by using the sliders.
